Property prices increase at slowest rate since December 2020

House prices grew 0.9 per cent nationally in year to August, while they fell by 1.9 per cent in Dublin

The price of homes in areas outside Dublin increased by 3.1 per cent in the 12 months to August, according to figures published by the Central Statistics Office (CSO).

The Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) also shows prices in Dublin decreased by 1.9 per cent over the same period.

It means there was a national increase in the RPPI by 0.9 per cent in the year to August - the lowest increase since December 2020.
