The Dáil’s Public Accounts Committee is to hear evidence from an Irish Prison Service whistleblower who claims he has had his salary cut off after he made a protected disclosure.

The prison officer, who has worked in the IPS for nearly 25 years, has had his salary cut off at various points in recent years, and claims it is a result of having made a protected disclosure two years ago.
