Nearly one in three leaders in Irish-based tech firms are planning to leave their job and emigrate in the next two years, a new survey has found.

Research carried out on behalf of Auxilion, the Irish IT services provider, suggests that tech companies are going to face pressure in the coming years with a significant proportion of their decision-makers eyeing an exit.

It comes after significant turbulence in the tech sector over the last two years, with a series of major companies – including Meta, Google, Amazon and Microsoft – having laid off parts of their Irish workforces.
