Pharmacy sales push price of individual businesses to over €1m

The average pharmacy in Ireland is worth over €1 million following a dramatic increase in the sale of pharmacies since 2014.

Sales of individual pharmacies in Ireland doubled from 17 in 2014 to 33 in 2018. This increase is due to factors including an improvement in the economy, retirements, pent up demand from vendors wishing to sell and investor sentiment.
