The EU’s due diligence reporting rules will add to the risks for Irish businesses, legal experts have warned

MEPs voted the corporate sustainability due diligence directive (CSDDD) into law in the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

Eleven years ago this week, a building collapsed in the Rana Plaza complex in Dhaka, Bangladesh, killing 1,134 people and injuring thousands. Around 30 global brands, including Benetton, Mango and Primark, had used garment factories in the area.
