Paddy Power founder backing Curragh revamp

One of the original founders of gambling empire Paddy Power has invested a substantial sum in the company behind the €65 million revamp of the Curragh Racecourse.

David Power, who started the famous bookmakers that has become the betting technology titan Paddy Power Betfair, has put in €700,000, a new filing at the companies office shows.
