Paddy Power fined €560k for sending Premier League bets to self-excluded customers

The Dublin-headquartered gambling giant has been sanction by the UK Gambling Commission for its failures

Paddy Power has been fined £490,000 (€563,000) for offering Premier League promotions to people who had told the betting giant that they no longer wanted to gamble.

The UK Gambling Commission issued the fine after Paddy Power sent enhanced odds on a football match to mobile phones of users who had asked not to be contacted about gambling.
