Eamon Ryan has said he would “not rule out” a ban on fossil fuel advertising, after Solidarity/People Before Profit launched a campaign calling for their new legislation to be passed.
Paul Murphy, People Before Profit TD for Dublin South-West, introduced the Prohibition of Fossil Fuel Advertising Bill to the Dáil last month, which seeks to ban sponsorship by fossil fuel companies or the advertising of fossil fuels, fossil fuel cars, and flights in Ireland.
