Only handful apply for extra PTSB redress

Hundreds requested forms seeking compensation but only a few have been returned to the bank

Only a small number of Permanent TSB customers hit by the bank’s tracker mortgage fiasco have applied for additional compensation.

The bank last week said some 76 per cent of the near 1,400 customers due redress for being moved off trackers without being told of consequences have been repaid.
