New renters paying €214 more per month than existing tenants

New renters are paying on average €214 each month more than existing tenants nationwide, according to research by Economic and Social Research Institute.

A new study conducted by the institute has found that while the highest difference in rents between new and existing tenancies was in Dublin, at €233 on average, it was the northwest and west of the country which recorded the biggest differences in percentage terms.
