Nearly 100 child sex abuse victims left waiting over a year for access to treatment

Cari said it has over 90 children waiting more than a year for treatment, including around 65 who have been abused and 25 who are displaying risky sexual behaviour and pose a risk themselves

An organisation working at the front line of counselling for children who have been victims of sex abuse has described as “inexplicable” a delay in putting in place long-promised centres to treat victims.
