A vulnerable child who had repeatedly suffered at the hands of bullies, Ana Kriégel was lured in May of last year to a derelict house in Lucan, where she was viciously beaten to death. Francesca Comyn reports on the trial of her two young killers
Anastasia ‘Ana’ Kriégel’s naked body was discovered in a derelict house on May 17, 2018. She was last seen three days earlier in a local park, having left her house with one of the accused, Boy B.
The two 14-year-old boys pleaded not guilty to murdering her on May 14, 2018 at Glenwood House in Lucan, west Dublin. Boy A also denied an additional charge of aggravated sexual assault “involving serious violence” against Kriégel.
