Moylan steps down as chair of Ireland’s biggest landlord, Ires Reit

The company previously announced that Declan Moylan would not seek re-election to the board at the company’s next annual general meeting in May 2024.

Ires Reit, Ireland’s biggest landlord, has announced that Declan Moylan will step down as chair of the board in February.

The company has announced that Hugh Scott-Barrett, the new chair, will now oversee Ires Reit’s recently announced strategic review.

The review is due to assess options such as consolidation, mergers, the company’s status as a listed Reit, the sale of the company’s entire issued share capital and sale of assets.
