Microsoft launches AI training programmes for rural Ireland

The company will be running four hour courses throughout the country

Microsoft has launched four-hour training courses throughout Ireland as part of its national up-skilling programme.

The AI ‘Skill-up-a-Thons’ will run in Cavan, Galway, Kilkenny, Mayo and Tipperary, with further locations to be announced later in the year. There will also be master-classes in AI run in Kerry.

Through the skill-up-a-thons people will earn an industry recognised certificate in generative AI and gain access to LinkedIn Premium.
