Meta staff in Ireland to be informed on Wednesday after new job cuts announced

Meta employees in Ireland will be told today if they are impacted by Tuesday’s announcement that 10,000 more jobs are to be cut as part of a significant restructuring of the business.

Mark Zuckerberg confirmed the cuts in a memo to staff which he said would focus on a “flattening” of the organisation, cancelling of lower priority projects and reducing the rate of hiring.
