McDonald’s eyes further expansion in Ireland as profits hit record high

Profits at the Irish arm of McDonald’s hit a record high of over €43 million last year, according to newly-filed accounts.

The directors of McDonald’s Restaurants of Ireland Ltd, which comprises 94 franchised outlets across the country, stated that “the company anticipates further expansion of its operations in the Republic of Ireland”.
