Mayo forestry project stalled by concerns over road safety
Transport Infrastructure Ireland has objected the planned truck entrance to the site in Corranun near Ballyhaunis
A forestry fund’s project in Mayo has been stalled following an appeal by Transport Infrastructure Ireland against plans to create a new entrance for large trucks to the lands.
Last year, the 10-hectare site in Corranun near Ballyhaunis was acquired by SLM Partners, an international investment firm involved in ecological farming and forestry.
