Temple Street to be taken over as hospital reverts to Sisters of Mercy

The Mater Hospital has said it will use Temple Street to expand when ownership of the children's hospital reverts to the Sisters of Mercy.

It had previously been suggested the Temple Street site could be sold to offset the cost of the new national children's hospital, which is due to open in 2024.
