Losses at Stripe International widen to $210m as double-digit sales growth continues

Stripe’s EMEA and APAC arm showed a sharp rise in sales, due to growth in volume of business from existing and new customers

Stripe, the online payments giant, recorded higher revenues in its Europe, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific business last year, but its losses also rose substantially, new company accounts show.

The company, which was founded by John and Patrick Collison, recorded a 27 per cent increase in revenues last year to $2.85 billion - up from $2.25 billion in sales the previous year.
