Local authorities turn down 35 per cent of Nama social housing offered

Local authorities in Ireland rejected 35 per cent of properties offered by the National Asset Management Agency (Nama) as social housing since it was estbalished in 2012.

Nama offered 7,050 properties to local authorities, but of those 2,435 were turned down by local authorities for a variety of reasons.
