The Law Society is investigating whether a solicitors’ firm breached strict advertising regulations to exploit the CervicalCheck screening controversy.

The regulatory body has confirmed that it issued a letter of investigation earlier this month to a legal practice over its website content, following complaint. The law firm in question has not been named.
