Jailed Anglo bankers apply for bail just ten weeks into sentences

Jailed former Anglo Irish Bank executives Tiernan O’Mahoney and Bernard Daly will apply for bail on Wednesday, less than ten weeks into their sentences.

The former bank officials will ask the Court of Appeal to release them from Mountjoy prison ahead of an appeal against their convictions for defrauding the Revenue Commissioners.
