Irish women tech entrepreneurs raise a record €234m from investors

New figures distorted by a small number of big deals, led by a €66m raise for TransferMate

Irish women entrepreneurs raised a record €234 million last year across 72 tech companies last year, new figures reveal.

This compares to a total of €230 million across 55 deals in 2021, and just €105 million in 50 transactions in 2020.

However, a small number of big transactions accounted for the lion’s share of deals recorded in 2022, the data from TechIreland shows.
