Irish travellers will be spared cancellations despite Heathrow summer strikes, say bosses

Irish business and tourist passengers will be unaffected by strikes by security guards at Heathrow airport which are unlikely to cause flight cancellations, the airport’s boss has insisted.

There are 436 flights per week flying from Dublin to London Heathrow with Aer Lingus alone running 18 flights per day between the two capital cities.

Heathrow bosses have promised passengers will not be disrupted as a result of the action.
