French watchdog’s reports means fines could be levied against the bodies that allegedly missold the French leaseback properties to 150 Irish buyers
Irish property owners have succeeded in a landmark review by French authorities of an alleged scam in which 150 people claim they were missold holiday properties in France.
Earlier this month, the French competition watchdog which had been reviewing the cases over recent years submitted reports to the public prosecutors of three courts, known as tribunaux judiciaires, in the south of France.
