Google’s employees in Ireland will learn within weeks if they have lost their jobs as part of the tech giant’s plans to cut its global workforce by 12,000, the Business Post has learned.

It is understood that the US tech company, which employs more than 8,000 people in Ireland between full-time staff and contractors, will carry out an assessment on its Irish operations to assess the level of job cuts here.
