Irish fintech investment plunged 94 per cent last year

It comes amid a six-year low in global investment in the space, driven by market uncertainty and global conflicts

Investment in Irish fintech firms dropped off a cliff last year, with a 94 per cent decline in funding to $60.8 million (€56.2 million) across 11 deals.

This compares to 2022, when Irish fintech investment represented more than $1 billion across 22 deals, according to a new report from KPMG Ireland.
