Irish biomaterials company sold to Ashland for $12m

An Irish company that develops biomaterial solutions for the pharma and medical devices sector has been sold for $12 million to global chemical company Ashland.

Vornia produces a range of medical biomaterials for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and medical devices industry, as well as for academic and industrial clients.
