Irish Asphalt claims wind-up bid driven by ‘ulterior motive’

The High Court will convene for a special sitting next month to address the alleged “ulterior motive” driving a petition to wind up Irish Asphalt Ltd (IAL).

James Elliott Construction Ltd (JECL) has applied for a liquidator to be appointed to the insolvent materials provider over an “undisputed”, €2.4 million unsecured debt.
