Ireland should receive more EU funding for major transport projects – Jack Chambers

The government wants to tap the EU for extra funding to build major transport and energy projects, including port upgrades, offshore wind infrastructure, Dart+ and Metrolink.

Jack Chambers, the junior transport minister, raised the issue at a meeting with his EU counterparts and the European Commission on Wednesday and Thursday in Brussels.
