Ireland gets zero votes in bid to host EU anti-money laundering agency
In complicated process, Ireland loses out on bid for agency that would have brought 400 jobs
Ireland did not secure any votes from European policymakers in its bid to host the EU’s new anti-money laundering agency (Amla).
The European Central Bank announced this evening that Frankfurt had been chosen as the location of the Amla following a vote by member states in Brussels.
