Insolvencies up 48% in first half of this year, report shows

Hospitality, construction and financial services sectors saw highest rates of bankruptcy

Insolvencies in Ireland increased 48 per cent year-on-year in the first half of 2023, according to figures from credit risk analyst CRIFVision-Net.

A total of 410 insolvencies were recorded in the first six months of this year, up from 277 in the same period in 2022, the data found.
