High Court judge ‘not impressed’ by email delay in Web Summit case
Court told 14 million documents have been collected as tech conference founders sue each other through a series of lawsuits
A High Court judge has said he is not impressed that attempts to retrieve emails deleted “for unexplained reasons” in a lawsuit involving the Web Summit founders may delay the case.
Mr Justice Denis McDonald was referring to an issue flagged last week by counsel for David Kelly, a minority shareholder in Web Summit, during a discovery process which was due to conclude on May 17.
