Hamilton may be on its way to Bord Gáis Theatre

Irish audiences may soon get the chance to see the musical which has been variously described as a game-changer, a dazzling spectacle and a show that has “given new wings to musical theatre”.

Stephen Faloon, general manager of the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in the Dublin docklands, is in negotiations to bring Lin-Manuel Miranda’s hip-hop musical Hamilton to the theatre. Faloon, who has seen the show, described it as “truly remarkable”.
