Group established to increase use of timber in construction amid industry concern

A new group tasked with looking at ways to increase the use of timber in Ireland’s construction sector has been set up by the government.

The establishment of the new steering group comes amid industry concern around the obstacles to the use of timber in construction, including regulatory and standardisation challenges.
