Government mulls temperature caps in offices; OECD inflation down for first time since 2020

Liz Truss was appointed Britain’s new prime minister after winning the Tory leadership contest. The 47-year-old politician was formally invited by Queen Elizabeth to form a government, hours after Boris Johnson tendered his resignation.
