Electrical group said that the strategy will result in layoffs and site closures in the short term, but will allow it to increase its overall staff by one fifth by 2029

Glen Dimplex has announced a major reorganisation of its operations that will see up to 300 employees made redundant.

The electrical group is consolidating five of its sites down to three, as well as creating “world class manufacturing facilities to support future growth areas.”
