Full employment not standing in way of expansion, says HPE after 150 jobs added

IT giant says it had no difficulty recruiting for new Galway facility despite strong employment rates

A Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) executive in Ireland, who are currently in the middle of a large hiring drive, have said the country’s full-employment status is not impacting its ability to expand in the west of Ireland.

Fidelma Russo, chief technology officer of HPE, said the firm has encountered no difficulty hiring new staff for its cloud computing operation in Galway since it started interviewing candidates in the summer.
