Freenow announces partnership with Meili for in-app car rental

The taxi app said the partnership will be ‘pivotal’ in expanding their mobility offering

Freenow has announced a partnership with Meili, a Dublin-based mobility tech firm, to introduce car rentals into its app on a pan-European basis.

The taxi-hailing firm said the partnership will allow customers to rent vehicles through its platform from Hertz, Europcar and Avis.

With this announcement, Meili now becomes a “strategic technology partner” of the app, which is available in nine European markets across more than 150 cities.
