Food inflation to fall next year, predict Kerry Group and Lidl chiefs

Food industry bosses say costs are tumbling throughout the global food supply chain with food inflation to be down to between 2 and 3 per cent next year

Food inflation is set to tumble next year, according to the head of Kerry Group and the chief executive of Lidl Ireland.

John Paul Scally, who has been at the helm of Lidl since 2015, said he expects food inflation to be between 2 and 3 per cent in 2024.
