Under cross-examination by former Anglo boss's barrister, ODCE legal advisor admits documents were shredded
The lead investigator in thetrial of former Anglo Irish Bank boss Sean FitzPatrick has admitted making a “calamitous” error, involving the shredding of documentation.
Kevin O'Connell - a legal advisor at the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement – admitted destroying a small number of documents after he was cross-examined by FitzPatrick's lawyers when the trial was before a different judge in April 2015.
