Finance Minister Michael McGrath has dashed hopes of a Vat cut for non-hotel hospitality, despite Taoiseach Leo Varadkar saying it warranted consideration.
Speaking in Cork on Friday, McGrath restated his opposition to the calls to reduce Vat for small eateries and cafés, despite some high-profile business failures in recent weeks.
