Fianna Fáil TDs raise tourism concerns as coalition finalises immigration strategy

The party is finalising discussion paper on future plans as immigration has become an election issue

Fianna Fáil TDs have raised concerns about the impact that the increase in the number of asylum seekers have had on tourism accommodation and the ability of those arriving in Ireland to work.

A document currently being finalised by members of the parliamentary party will be submitted to Micheál Martin in the coming weeks as the coalition prepares to publish its own long-term strategy.
