Farmers get energy aid in budget, Vat scrapped on newspapers, BoE boss issues interest rate warning

Farmers will get supports similar to small businesses to help them cope with energy costs this winter, the government announced. The measure will compensate farmers based on energy usage and will be part of the business energy support scheme.
