External probe into An Bord Pleanála delayed again
Lorna Lynch SC’s report will not be published before the end of the year, despite previous assurances it would be delivered in November
An external investigation into An Bord Pleanála by a senior barrister has been delayed again and won’t be delivered until the new year, the planning authority has confirmed.
In January, Oonagh Buckley, then chair of the national planning body, asked Lorna Lynch SC to investigate a series of matters at An Bord Pleanála. The decision to commission Lynch came following the completion of an internal report staff at An Bord Pleanála carried out in 2022.
