Ex-rugby star Byrne ‘vehemently’ denies claims about family business

Shane Byrne, the former Ireland rugby international, will be in court next week to “vehemently” deny the claims made against himself and his brother William by the company that bought a 51 per cent share in their family business.

The brothers’ solicitor Gerald Kean told The Sunday Business Post that they will be there to “defend their good name” and “will be denying all the claims made against them”.
