Eurozone inflation falls to lowest level in two years
The annual rate of inflation has declined sharply in September to 4.3 per cent
The European Central Bank’s decision on raising interest rates will be influenced by new figures which show that the inflation which has been plaguing eurozone countries declined sharply in September.
The data strengthens hopes from analysts that consumers will eventually get relief from high costs – and that the ECB will not have to further restrict the economy by raising interest rates from already-record highs.
