Eir lands €95m deal for AIB’s telecom services

Eir has secured a €95 million five-year deal with AIB to manage the bank’s entire telecommunications services.
As part of the deal 34 AIB staff have transferred to Eir. Bill Archer, managing director of Eir Business, said the telco is pursuing similar deals with other large clients.
“This is a comprehensive undertaking. Essentially AIB has outsourced the entire scope of its telecommunications to Eir,” Archer told The Sunday Business Post.
