Eircom Ltd has launched a High Court case against Comreg over what it alleges is the regulator’s attempt to block it from offering discounts to retailers.

The telecoms company, which trades as Eir, said it does not agree with the regulator’s position that it is prohibited from offering a discount on its wholesale fibre broadband service.
