Economic threats eclipse climate concerns on Irish business leaders’ list of worries

New survey finds Irish executives think a ‘labour or talent shortage’ is the biggest risk facing domestic firms

Irish business leaders are more concerned about economic risks and talent shortages than environmental concerns or the threat of artificial intelligence, new research from the World Economic Forum has shown.

The research, carried out in partnership with Marsh McLennan and Zurich Insurance Group, surveyed more than 11,000 business executives in 110 countries. A total of 59 executives in Ireland contributed to the report.
